1. What is GreenLuxury and why should you use it?

   GreenLuxury is an eco-focused networking site built by people with a passion for the environment, just like you. GreenLuxury is one of a kind, providing the latest green news, innovations and product information for the eco-conscious citizen. Look here for the most recent developments in green technology, design, fashion and function. More generally we are looking to educate, inspire, and encourage change (and have some fun at the same time).

2. How do I create an account on GreenLuxury?

   Creating a profile on GreenLuxury is easy. Just click on "Sign Up" on the homepage and fill out the New Registration form. Or you can click on the following link: http://greenluxury.com/users/register

3. I want to live a "greener" lifestyle, can GreenLuxury help me?

   Yes. GreenLuxury.com is the great way to develop greener habits no matter what your experience level. It is safe, convenient and FREE. We provide you information on the latest products and services, tips on healthy foods and activities, and more. GreenLuxury provides members an opportunity to educate themselves and others on important issues to help protect our environment.

4. How does GreenLuxury protect my privacy and safety?

   GreenLuxury is a community for fashion professionals to network with others and stay on top of the trends in a safe environment. Our primary goal is to provide a secure place to access practical resources and information on the latest environmentally conscious products and services, green news, and provide green education tools.

   We purposely ask for very little personal information, and we STRONGLY encourage you to use common sense on our site when talking with others. Do not reveal home addresses, phone numbers or anything else that you wouldn't want a stranger to have. Please be aware that all information (including photos or videos) that you post on public sections of the community and all information (excluding your e-mail address and your password) that is contained in your GreenLuxury profile can be seen by every Member and Visitor to the Site.

   We strongly believe in the right to privacy, and we will not sell, distribute or otherwise abuse your personally identifiable information without your permission.

5. How do I say hello to a friend?

   Once you've got your profile set up and you've linked with several friends, there are a handful of ways to communicate with others. The first is the Storyboard, which is the de facto place to leave a note on everyone's profile page. It's completely public, so whatever you write, others will be able to see.

   GreenLuxury also has its own e-mail service. One thing that makes this internal messaging service attractive is its conversation threading, which shows each message sent back and forth. It's a great way to keep track of who said what, similar to what you get with Gmail. All of this can be managed under the inbox tab, which you'll find on the top middle of the page.

6. How do I share something on GreenLuxury?

   Our "Share it" tool is a cool way to share stories or pictures you've found.

   You can post items to your Storyboard, or send them to your friends on and off the service. Anyone you've shared it with can leave comments and discuss it with others.

7. How do I create an Album?

   GreenLuxury.com lets you upload and share your photos with others. To create an album, go to My Media in your profile and hit "Create an Album." From there, name your lookbook and hit "Upload Media". This feature will allow you to upload multiple images to your album at once. Click the Browse button below and select the images you wish to upload, then click the upload button to proceed. Please do not close this box until all images have been uploaded or your images will not finish uploading. You may upload 10 images at a time, and they must be jpg, gif and png files. Files should be less than 10.00 MB each.

   Note: "Tagging" your albums will be essential to be found in our Search tool. We highly recommend that you tag your albums with the proper words that pertain to it.

GreenStyle

1. What is GreenStyle?

   GreenStyle is a global fashion community where you can

   1. You upload photos of products, services and destinations you like (preferably yours), and browse others.
   2. Rate up and comment on looks you like. The more votes an image gets, the higher it is on the page.

2. What can GreenStyle be used for?

   1. To show off your products or a product that you like.
   2. To obtain feedback on products and learn about comperable items.
   3. To promote your designs or products if you're a designer / manufacturer / retailer.
   4. To inspire others to take steps to a greener lifestyle.
   5. To bring the environmentally conscious community together.

3. What is a "look"?

   A "look" is a user-submitted photograph that displays a "green" product, destination or service.

4. How do I post a GreenStyle photo?

   Login and click the "Submit a Green Photo" in GreenStyle section.

5. What is tagging?

   Tagging allows you to describe different parts of the image, i.e. what makes a certain product green. By tagging, you can show if something is organic, recycled, uses sustainable energy or many other eco-attributes. Please make sure to tag images with all important environmental information.
   How tagging works:

   1. To tag an image, click on the part of the image you want to describe.
   2. An input box will appear where you can type in the tag title.
   3. Hover over the image to see all tag positions.
   4. To remove a tag, click its number left of the input box.
   5. When you are done, save your changes by clicking the button below the form.

6. Are there any general guidelines on what I can post?

   1. Post clear (not blurry) and well-lit photographs that display your entire outfit (or at least most of it) and not excessively edited/photoshopped.
   2. Only one outfit per photo.
   3. DO NOT repost photos.
   4. DO NOT post ads or spam.
   5. DO NOT post photos that don't belong to you.
   6. No nudity.
   7. No photos of children.

   * Any photo that does not follow these guidelines will be deleted immediate and could result in account termination upon further review.

7. How do I find and vote for GreenStyle Photos?

   Visit the GreenStyle "NEW" section to view recently added photos. If you see entries you like, vote them up by clicking the corresponding "Leaf" symbol.
